The Honda Dio has achieved a cumulative sales milestone of 30 lakh units including the domestic and export markets. It isn’t surprising considering the fact that right from the first generation model, it has been the Japanese brand’s sportiest-looking scooter, primarily appealing to youngsters. Even though the Dio has received only a few major design changes over the years, its sales have been more or less consistently healthy.

In 2018, the Dio received an LED headlamp, semi-digital instrument cluster and a range of funky new colours, apart from the new 3-in-1 lock switch. That said, Honda retained the overall design theme of the scooter. Another interesting point to note is that the Dio is also Honda’s second best-selling scooter at present, after the Activa. Gurugram, May 06 2019: Honda 2Wheelers India, the undisputed leader of scooterization in India, today announced that Dio - its youthful moto-scooter, accomplished a new milestone.

Honda Dio has now delighted over 30 Lac trend-setting youngsters since its launch in 2002.

India & the World are Dio’ing it the New Way

While it took 14 years to achieve the first 15 lac sales, the latest 15 lac sales were achieved in last 3 years i.e. almost 5 times faster the former pace. Honda’s Dio retains the position of India’s 4th largest selling scooter in India.

Noteworthy, Dio is not only delighting young customers of India but enjoys global acceptance as well. With 44% export market share in scooter segment, Dio is the largest exported scooter of India & exported to more than 11 South Asian & Latin American countries like Nepal, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Colombia & more; Dio is also Honda 2Wheelers India’s highest exported model.

The standard trim is offered in Vibrant Orange / Sports Yellow / Sports Red / Candy Jazzy Blue / Matte Axis Grey Metallic.  The deluxe variant is available in Dazzle Yellow Metallic / Matte Marshal Green Metallic / Pearl Igneous Black / Matte Axis Grey Metallic. I brought this bike in 2021 and its pros nd cons

I brought this bike in 2021 for the 1st two years i didnt get any problem from tht bike but now i had a problem from gear box i get an irrigation sound from gear box rather than that there is no problem in this bike its been 4 years still i get the milage of 50kmph on city ok highway i get more thn 55, service cost is good there will b no problem rather thn anything nd main is there is no high power in head light its an slight drawback in this bike Read More

Smooth bike and the maintainance is also low cost. Easily rideable and mileage is far better and its good use for average salary guys and delivery guys to ride long with less cost.
