Honda CB500X Prices Slashed By Over Rs 1 lakh!

Honda India's only 500cc motorcycle has now become more affordable… but only for some time
When we tested the Honda CB500X, there were only a few things that had put us off. Also, while the ADV's performance did impress us, the OTT pricing was a big deal-breaker. Fortunately, Honda has now made up for it by slashing the ADVs prices by a good Rs 1.08 lakh.
The CB500X currently retails for Rs 5,79,952 (ex-showroom Delhi), and at this cost, we reckon it makes for a prudent buy. However, this price cut is for only a limited time, so if you were planning to buy the CB500X, now is as good a time as ever.

The Honda ADV sits between the relatively more affordable KTM 390 Adventure and the Kawasaki Versys 650. Another option is the Benelli TRK502X, which undercuts the CB500X by around Rs 25,000.
In related news, the bikemaker has recently set up a new mid-size (250cc and above) engine manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad and also reintroduced the CB300R in its BS6 avatar at Rs 2.77 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
