For quite some time now, we've known pretty much everything there is to know about the Hero XPulse 200 BS6, and that's because all the details were up on the manufacturer's official website. Everything except the price, that is. The final piece of the puzzle has now fallen into place because Hero has launched the XPulse BS6 by updating its website with the official prices. The bike is now available in just one variant priced at Rs 1,11,790, making it just a little over Rs 5,000 more expensive than its BS4 predecessor.
The XPulse continues to be powered by the same 199.6cc fuel-injected motor but as a result of the stricter emission norms, output has fallen by 0.3PS and 0.65Nm to 18.08PS at 8500rpm and 16.45Nm at 6500rpm. This is due to revised ECU mapping and an extra catalytic converter in the exhaust system, the latter of which is largely responsible for the price hike.
The rest of the bike remains pretty muc unchanged, so it still packs in capable off-road hardware like wire-spoke wheels in a 21-inch/18-inch size combo, ample suspension travel thanks to its 37mm telescopic fork and preload-adjustable monoshock, and a significant 220mm of ground clearance. Braking is handled by 276mm/220mm disc brake combo, and single-channel ABS is standard. The XPulse 200 is the most affordable adventure bike offering in the country, with the next most expensive bike being the Royal Enfield Himalayan starting at Rs Rs 1.89 lakh.

- comfortable for off road and cityI’ve been using this bike for the last 3 years, and overall, I’m very happy with it. It’s a great choice for both city rides and off-roading. The mileage and maintenance costs are good, and the suspension is excellent for potholes and rough Indian roads. The main drawbacks are engine heating during hilly rides and some fatigue on rides over 200 km in a day. Overall, a comfortable, reliable, and capable off-road bike. - Best in the segment.Fabulous bike for people who commutes daily and also for long rides. This bike goes everywhere, does everything. Great mileage, works great on highways and off roads. Top speed of this bike is 130 kmph. Comfortable to ride, easy to handle in traffic. This bike have all good features. Must buy and comes under budget also. ABS also works like a charm of this bike. - Great, But if you add on a bit extra to stock bikeBike is really good, if you choose to ride a stock vehicle, you might feel a bit comfortable, but if you get some accessories on it, it will be your friend for life. - Hero x pulse 200 4V review after 22000 kmsI am five eleven and it suits me for my height. Comfort of a rider not a pillion and mileage is a plus for this bike. Maintenance cost is also very good and cheap you can get service done from any of the authorised hero service centres. I have been driving since almost twenty two thousand kilometres so far and im fully satisfied with the performance of this bike. I just changed chain socket and fuel motor in the fuel tank. Ride comfort is very good for rider not for pillion thats only negative. Yes I would definitely recommend this bike to those who have height above five eight. I am driving this bike since two thousand twenty two and no major faults or damages done to bike. I am fully satisfied with this bike.Read More6 3
- Best choice for Bad Roads and Daily Use.I chose Hero Xpulse 200 4V for its comfort on bad roads while still being easy to ride daily. The suspension works great on potholes, the engine is smooth for city rides, and maintenance stays affordable. Ride quality has been comfortable so far, especially on rough roads. Mileage is decent for daily use, handling feels light and confident, and while top speed isn't aggressive it's stable and relaxed at cruising speeds. Yess -- I'd recommend it for daily riders who want comfort on rough roads, easy handling in traffic, good mileage and reliable performance.
