Here’s a chance to get your hands on a KTM with attractive festive offers

KTM has announced various offers for its entire Duke range of motorcycles this festive season. However, these offers are limited to Mumbai only. The current lineup, which includes the KTM 200 Duke (Rs 1.50 lakh), 250 Duke (Rs 1.79 lakh) and 390 Duke (Rs 2.42 lakh, ex-showroom, Mumbai), benefit from 100 per cent financing, zero-interest EMIs and on-the-spot delivery. The finance offer will be approved on the spot based on your credentials.

The KTM 200 Duke is powered by a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled motor that puts out 25.83PS of power at 10,000rpm and 19.2Nm of torque at 8000rpm. It comes mated to a 6-speed transmission.

The 250 Duke, on the other hand, shares its design with the 390 Duke. Sadly, it misses out on features such as the TFT colour display, LED headlights, ABS and ride-by-wire. It’s powered by a downsized version of the 390 Duke’s motor. The 248.8cc engine produces 30PS of power at 9000rpm and 24Nm of torque at 7500rpm. A 6-speed gearbox transfers power to the rear wheel via chain drive.

From a design standpoint, the 390 Duke looks like a generation ahead when compared to its competitors in the market today. This is due to its design, which seems to be inspired by its elder sibling - the 1290 Super Duke. The 390 Duke produces 43.5PS of power at 9000rpm and 37Nm of torque at 7000rpm from its 373.2cc motor, which is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

The KTM 200 Duke competes against the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V 2.0 ABS (Rs 1.10 lakh) and the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 ABS (Rs 1.11), while the KTM 250 Duke goes up against the Yamaha FZ 25 (Rs 1.18 lakh). The bigger 390 Duke locks horns against the Bajaj Dominar 400 ABS (Rs 1.62 lakh) and the BMW G 310 R (Rs 2.99 lakh).
