Fancy Getting A Rs 80 lakh Bike As A Gift?
Here are celebrities who gave other such crazy gifts
We all love receiving gifts. Pens, watches, sunglasses, books, etc, I’m sure none of us are alien to such nice gifts. But then when I say ‘us’, I mean us middle-class or even upper middle class people. Because if we talk about gifts given by celebrities, things do go up a couple of notches immediately. So, given how nutty all of us at BikeDekho are about motorcycles, here’s a list of five celebrities that gifted someone something we ourselves would love to receive: a motorcycle.
Kamal Haasan Gifting Apaches
Actor-producer Kamal Haasan, gifted TVS Apache RTR 160 bikes to all assistant directors present on his film Vikram. And if that sounds crazy, wait till I tell you that the actor gifted that very film’s director, Lokesh Kanagaraj, a brand new Lexus!
Ajith Kumar Gifted A BMW F 850 GS To His Fellow Rider!
Ajith Kumar, also known as ‘Thala Ajith,’ is one of the most popular actors in the Tamil film industry. But apart from that, he’s well known for his love for bike trips as well. And during one such Sikkim trip, he was so happy with the organization and overall experience, that he decided to gift Sugata Satpati (the person who organised the tour for him) a new BMW F 850 GS! Where do we apply if we want to organise Thala Ajith’s rides too?
Mahendra Singh Dhoni H2R
India cricketer KL Rahul, got married to long-time girlfriend Athiya Shetty on January 23, for which he received wedding gifts worth gobsmacking amounts from everyone in the cricketing fraternity. But what stood out for us is former India captain, MS Dhoni’s gift, which was reportedly a ‘Kawasaki Ninja’ bike worth Rs 80 lakh, which can only mean that Rahul’s former captain gifted him the monstrous, track-only Kawasaki Ninja H2R! I mean I once gifted a friend a rather fancy pencil box worth Rs 80 and my mom scolded me for splurging money on it. Talk about taking things up a notch!
Shah Rukh Khan Gifting Abhishek Bachchan A Harley-Davidson
Shah Rukh Khan’s bonding with his Happy New Year co-star Abhishek Bachchan went to a whole new level when he gifted Junior B a swanky new Harley-Davidson Forty Eight. As gorgeously old-school as they are, the unfortunate truth is that most modern-day Harleys are priced out of reach for the average Joe. That said, the American giant has joined hands with an Indian giant: Hero and the two will soon roll out what’ll be Harley’s most affordable bike. Check it out here.
Patralekha Gifting Harley-Davidson To Rajkumar Rao
In an effort to gift her then-boyfriend something special, Bollywood actress Patralekha gifted Rajkumar Rao a new Harley-Davidson Fat Bob, a bike that makes an oxymoron like ‘sporty cruiser’ sound true. The Fat Bob’s engaging handling coupled with the punchy 1745cc motor makes it an absolute hoot to ride.
