Bajaj Pulsar N160 Variants Explained: Price, Features, Which One To Buy?
There are 4 variants, each with different features and hardware combo. Confused? Read this

Bajaj has launched a new single-seat, inverted-fork variant of the Pulsar N160 at Rs 1,23,983 (ex-showroom Delhi). There are now four variants to choose from, each offering a different set of features or hardware combinations. In this explainer, we give you a detailed breakdown of the differences among the variants, so you can make a better buying decision.
Bajaj Pulsar N160 Single-Seat Twin Disc Variant
Price - Rs 1,13,133 (ex-showroom Delhi)

This is the base variant of the Bajaj Pulsar N160, and is priced quite well. The bike gets a conventional telescopic fork, along with a comfortable single-piece seat (should be slightly more comfortable than the split-seats). It also offers smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth, but only supports SMS/call alerts. Along with this, Bajaj has given this variant a single-channel ABS, which acts only on the front wheel. All these features added together make the base variant of the N160 a fairly value-for-money buy for people who want a stylish, powerful, and comfortable 160cc commuter.
Bajaj Pulsar N160 Dual-Channel ABS
Price – Rs 1,16,773 (ex-showroom Delhi)

This variant of the N160 offers the safety net of dual-channel ABS, which acts on both the front and the rear wheels, and prevents both of them from locking up under hard braking. It also gets a sportier looking split-seat setup. That said, it may not be as roomy as the single-piece seat. For just Rs 3,640 more than the base variant, it offers much better value for money as you pay a small premium for a much safer bike. If you’re on a budget, then we’d recommend getting this one over the base variant.
Bajaj Pulsar N160 Single Seat With Inverted Fork
Price – Rs 1,23,983 (ex-showroom Delhi)

This newly launched variant of the Pulsar N160 gets golden-coloured inverted fork. This type of fork is not really critical for small capacity bikes, as a well-tuned telescopic fork will do the job just fine. That said, an inverted fork really enhances the premium quotient of the bike. Additionally, this variant also comes with a more feature-packed console complete with turn-by-turn navigation over and above the call & SMS alerts. This should make city commuting more convenient.
It goes a step further and also adds in three ABS modes, that too with dual-channel ABS. There’s also a set of LED indicators (borrowed from the Bajaj Pulsar N250) to complete the sleek look. If you value safety, convenient features and want a fairly comfortable streetfighter, then this variant is the ideal one for you.
Bajaj Pulsar N160 Dual-Channel ABS With Inverted Fork
Price – Rs 1,26,290 (ex-showroom Delhi)

This is the top-spec variant of the Pulsar N160. It’s the same as the newly-launched variant, but the only difference here is that it gets a split seat layout for sportier looks. Everything else is the same as the variant below this one. If you’re really keen on wanting a sporty-looking split seat setup, then you may go for this one. That said, it’s a little expensive as you have to pay Rs 2,307 for just a fancier-looking seat.
