    Quick News Highlights:

    • Faired version of the upcoming Continental GT 750 spotted testing in India

    • Gets a retro half-fairing and twin-pod instrument console

It’s no secret that Royal Enfield is working on a new 750cc engine platform, and the latest test mule spied testing is the faired version of the upcoming Continental GT 750. After being spotted testing overseas earlier, the motorcycle has now been seen on Indian roads, suggesting that development is progressing well. Here’s what we know so far.

The biggest change over the standard Continental GT 750 is the addition of a retro-style half-fairing. It wraps around the round LED headlight, giving the motorcycle a distinctive vintage racing look while also offering some additional wind protection.

The motorcycle continues to feature the conventional twin-pod instrument console seen on the overseas test mule. The exhausts, however, are now finished in black, giving the bike a sportier appearance. It also gets clip-on handlebars, bar-end mirrors, a single-seat setup with a rear cowl and different side panels inspired by the Bear 650. All seen earlier as well.

Royal Enfield could offer an optional bench seat, similar to the current Continental GT 650.

    Same 750cc Engine And Hardware

The faired motorcycle is expected to use the same new 750cc air-oil-cooled parallel-twin engine as the standard GT 750 and the upcoming Himalayan 750, which was recently showcased at the Himalayan Base Camp. It is likely to produce around 55PS and 60Nm, with power sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed gearbox.

Suspension duties are handled by a conventional telescopic fork and twin rear shocks, while braking comprises of twin front discs. The motorcycle also gets 18-inch alloy wheels.

Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 Launch Details

The faired GT 750 is expected to be positioned as the more premium and performance-oriented version of the upcoming Royal Enfield cafe racer. It could be launched alongside, or shortly after, the standard GT 750. An official unveiling could take place at Motoverse later this year, and the bike is expected to launch in India sometime early next year, likely in January 2027. As for the price, it is expected to cost around Rs 4.10 lakh (ex-showroom).
