Pre-bookings for the upcoming BMW F 450 GS can now be made at BMW Motorrad showrooms, and the booking amount ranges from Rs 10,000 to Rs 50,000 (depending on the state). Also, according to some dealers, the top-spec Trophy variant of the F 450 GS is already soldout. This sub-500cc adventure bike will be launched in India on April 23, 2026. It will sit as the most affordable GS bike from the brand, replacing the now-discontinued G 310 GS.
This BMW bike is expected to be priced at around Rs 5.50 lakh (ex-showroom), placing it in the rapidly-growing 300-500cc ADV segment. It will be powered by an all-new 420cc parallel-twin motor making 47.58PS and 43Nm.
Once launched, the F 450 GS will compete with other twin-cylinder ADV bikes like the Honda NX500 and Benelli TRK 502. It will also rival single-cylinder motorcycles like the KTM 390 Adventure and Royal Enfield Himayalan 450.

It has many features, like multiple riding mods and the trophy version has a ERC that means (easy riding clutch) it is very helpful to the beginners. The handling of the bike is very smooth and it gives around 20 to 24 milage on an average in highways and its seats are so much comfortable and it has a heating grips which helps me in early morning rides. I went to the BMW Bengaluru showroom, they are not even accepting booking and the vehicle already has 8 months waiting period which is very high for a made in India bike other than that very good looking and stylish bike with ERC clutch. I am desperately waiting for the bike the headlight looks very interesting. I got chills when I saw the bike's introduction video. the color scheme is perfect. the TFT display makes it look more futuristic. the power output of the bike will be crazy, especially on the trails, I hope the bike has good low-end torque which can help in the trails. although this bike is a big competitor of the Himalayan the BMW F 450 GS will be priced aggressively, at the end of the day it is a BMW.
