Royal Enfield Himalayan 440 Colours Explained

The new and recently launched Royal Enfield Himalayan 440, carries ahead the accessible adventurer-tourer character and design of its original predecessor, Himalayan 411, but with a bigger, more capable engine. It is priced at Rs 2,29,000 (ex-showroom Chennai). Royal Enfield offers it in three colourways, check out how they look:

Mustang Brown

Complementing its adventure-focused character, the Mustang Brown gives it a rugged and an earthy appeal. The rich brown shade adds warmth to the design while retaining its adventure-tourer nature. Riders who prefer outdoorsy and understated colours, this paintjob is for them as it works well with the bike’s purposeful bodywork. More importantly, it easily hides the slush and dirt, which one will eventually face when exploring the unknown.

Sela Black

Another understated colour is the Sela Black, which makes the bike look stealthy and imposing. The dark finish highlights the bike's rugged silhouette without looking too loud. It is a clean and versatile colour option for anyone who prefers their ride to look not too attention-grabbing.

Nelong White

The Nelong White gives the bike a crisp and distinctive look, bringing a brighter shade. The clean, white paint contrasts well with the dark components of the bike. It is a good choice for riders who want their bike to stand out. Also, it is the only colour option which has some camouflage graphic elements on the side of the tank as well as on the side panels. It’s different from the camouflage grey in the Sleet Edition of the Himalayan 411, but we can see where the inspiration is coming from!

While the new Himalayan 440 doesn’t have the variety the 411 had in terms of colour schemes, it still looks pretty good. Add to the fact that the colours are inspired from the names of the popular regions adjoining the mighty Himalayan mountain range, the cool factor is definitely still there.
