Royal Enfield Himalayan 440 Bookings Paused In India
The new adventure bike has surely received a warm welcome from the buyers
Royal Enfield has temporarily paused bookings for the Himalayan 440 in India, after the bike received a strong response from customers. The company says bookings have already covered its production allocation for the next six months, prompting it to stop accepting new orders for now.
Royal Enfield says the move will allow it to prioritise deliveries for customers who have already booked the motorcycle. Meanwhile, the company is working on increasing production capacity to meet the strong demand. It will announce the reopening of bookings at a later date.
The Himalayan 440 was launched in early September at Royal Enfield’s inaugural Himalayan Base Camp in Ladakh. It is positioned as a more accessible adventure motorcycle, with a relatively manageable riding position and seat height. The motorcycle is powered by a 443cc long-stroke engine paired with a six-speed gearbox.
The Himalayan 440 has also attracted attention for its pricing, making it an interesting option for buyers looking for a capable ADV without moving into a significantly more expensive segment. In other Royal Enfield news, the Himalayan 450 has crossed the one lakh global sales milestone, highlighting the growing popularity of the Himalayan family across international markets.

Best cruising segment bike for on road and off road. May performance is best in segment. Powerful engine, previous version of this bike are pretty good but the current version are not practically good or styling. I expect, the upcoming version will fulfil that gap. Just waiting for the official launch of this bike.Read More
