TVS has launched a new variant for the Scooty Zest, called the SXC variant. This new variant is priced at Rs 75,500 which is a premium of Rs 3,300 over the Matte Series variant. It gets a lot of new features and feels like a much-needed upgrade.
What Is New?
The TVS Scooty Zest SXC variant features a digital instrument console which displays speed, fuel level, odometer and tripmeter readouts. Along with this, it gets Bluetooth smartphone connectivity for call/SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation.
The addition of the new console has made the Scooty Zest feel a bit more premium and better suited to take on its rivals. This variant comes in two-colour schemes: Graphite Grey and Bold Black. The colours look quite premium compared to the other variants, and the graphics on the apron and body panels are a really nice touch.
What Remains The Same?
The scooter is still powered by the same 109.7cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine which produces 7.8PS and 8.8Nm. It is suspended on a telescopic fork, and a single-sided shock absorber. The scooter rolls on a 10-inch alloy wheels setup, with tubeless tyres. Braking is handled by drum brakes at both ends. It has a kerb weight of 103kg (wet) and a seat height of 760mm, this makes the scooter a lot more accessible for shorter riders.

The TVS Zest was one of the first scooters to be oriented towards female riders. It is commendable that TVS is keeping the Zest relevant in today’s market with new features.
That said, although this update is a welcome change we were hoping the brand would go a bit further and give the scooter a complete overhaul. Something similar to what they had done with the TVS Jupiter 110 earlier. Apart the the new updated Scooty, here are all the other two-wheelers launched in October 2025.
