Booking commences for Ducati Multistrada 1200

The Italian automotive company, Ducati is soon going to unleash its new machine called Ducati Multistrada 1200 in India. Presently, it is not available in India and will be imported in the country depending on predicted demand and bookings. Ducati India has started its booking with an initial amount of Rs 1 lac and will be available by November 2015. The new member in Ducati India family is expected to cost around INR 17 lac (ex-showroom).

The Ducati Multistrada 1200 buzz your ears from Ducati Testastretta DVT with Desmodromic Valve Variable Timing, liquid cooled, dual spark 1198cc L-twin DVT motor that generates the peak power of 160 bhp at 9,500 rpm and maximum torque of 136 Nm at 7,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a wet slipper-type clutch that makes it smooth and speedy.

This monster machine is lavished with safety features like cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control (DTC) and Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC). On the account of comfort, the bike is equipped with Cruise control and the latest Ducati Skyhook suspension. Riding Modes, Power Modes, Hands-free, Backlit handlebar switches and Anti-theft preparations will be available as a standard feature.
