Claiming the most powerful naked machine, Ducati unveiled its Monster 1200 R at Volkswagen Group Night right ahead of IAA 2015 at Frankfurt. Followed by Ducati 1200 S, Monster carries an Testastretta 11 engine. The all new muscular machine is based on Ducati’s 1200 S, taking the changes further to make the look and feel more impactful.
Current Specs of Ducati Monster 1200 R are:
- Engine: Testastretta 11 DS, L-Twin cylinders, 4 valve per cylinder, Desmodromic, liquid cooled
- Power: 160 HP
- Torque: 131.4Nm
- Gearbox: 6-speed
- Displacement: 1.198,4 cc
