Benelli is all set to launch the Leoncino 500 tomorrow. This would be Benelli’s most affordable 500cc motorcycle in India, likely to be priced around Rs 4.5 lakh (ex-showroom). The Leoncino will also be the brand’s first neo-retro scrambler-styled motorcycle in the country. Apart from the pricing, another aspect that could work well for the bike is its easy-to-reach handlebars and upright ergonomics. However, we will get a clearer picture once we get our hands on the motorcycle.
Benelli has equipped the motorcycle with features like dual-channel ABS, all-LED lighting system and a fully digital instrument cluster. The bike shares its engine with the TRK 502, and the 500cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled makes 47.5PS at 8500rpm and 46Nm at 6000rpm. The engine works alongside a 6-speed transmission.
The Leoncino 500 employs 50mm inverted forks up front and a monoshock at the rear with rebound and preload adjustability. Brakes include dual 320mm discs with radial calipers up front and a 260mm disc at the rear. At 207kg kerb, the bike is lighter than the TRK 502 by 28kg.
There are no direct rivals for the Leoncino but the closest motorcycle catering to the same genre would be the Ducati Scrambler, which costs Rs 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom India). If you’re looking for a retro-modern middleweight under a budget, the only other option you have is the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 which is priced at Rs 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom India). At this price, it offers phenomenal value for money for the kind of performance it offers.

The best bike with a scrambler structure. It provides an awesome experience, and we feel thrilled when we rev the bike.
The Leoncino 500 is a bike I recently purchased and have been enjoying. After riding it for a while I can say the Leoncino 500 delivers on its promises. The 500cc parallel twin engine provides plenty of low and midrange torque for zipping through traffic and cruising the highway. The classic scrambler styling looks great and the comfortable seat and upright ergonomics make it easy to ride for long periods. If you want a stylish, easy-to-handle middleweight naked bike with decent power The Benelli Leoncino 500 is worth a look.Read More
The Benelli Leoncino 500 has converted the standard delicacy and vitality of the highway that I'm familiar with. Because of its iconic 2-wheeler and robust ministry, every elevator offers a novelettish and significant experience. Its ultramodern features and slice and bone functionality give a flawless and active interpretation on all fronts. monumental commands and first-rate inductions give a gratuitous caste of luxury, making every ride affable and stirring, whether it's a whirlwind assist or a belated ride. The Benelli Leoncino 500 has surfaced as the classic of archetypal fineness and I like it more, setting new norms for what a true archetypal sedan can achieve in tenures of honey and interpretation.Read More
The Benelli Leoncino 500 is a stylish and versatile bike designed to provide a great riding experience. With its 500cc engine, it offers a balanced combination of power and agility for various riding situations. The thing that sets the Leoncino 500 apart is its modern and classic design, making it suitable for both city rides and longer trips. However, it may not have the high-end power and features of more expensive bikes, but it offers a good and stylish ride for those searching for a balance between style and performance.Read More
