Benelli Has Officially Started Taking Bookings Tor The Twin-Cylinder Fully Faired Motorcycle
The Benelli 302R has taken a long time to hit showrooms, delayed by the ongoing BS-IV emission norms and the company's decision to launch it with ABS, which the prototype bike did not come with. Benelli has now officially stated that the bike is indeed launching next month. The company has started accepting bookings for the bike as well.
Benelli dealerships across the country are accepting booking amounts as low as Rs 30,000. The bike is expected to be priced between Rs 4-4.2 lakhs on road.
The bike gets the Benelli TNT 300i's 300cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin motor that makes 38PS @ 11500rpm and 26.5Nm @ 10,000rpm. It gets a 6-speed gearbox.
Other features include a trellis frame, upside down front forks and dual front disc brakes. The bike will get ABS as standard.
When launched, the Benelli 302R will face competition from the Kawasaki Ninja 300 and KTM RC 390.
