The new base variant is over Rs 10,000 cheaper than before!

Bajaj Auto recently launched a new base variant of the Pulsar N160. The new variant is over Rs 10,000 cheaper than before, and now features a single-piece seat and single-channel ABS at the front. We now explain in detail how the three total variants differ from each other:

    Engine And Underpinnings

All variants of the N160 are powered by the same 164.2cc, air-and-oil-cooled engine which delivers 16PS and 14.65Nm and it is mated to a five-speed gearbox. So, all models deliver the same level of performance and mileage. Other shared components across all variants include the monoshock, LED projector headlight, signature Pulsar twin LED tail-light, 17-inch wheels with tubeless tyres at both ends, the chassis, and the overall design.

    Single-Piece Seat, Single-Channel ABS

This is the newest variant and also the most affordable one, priced at Rs 1,21,722 (ex-showroom Pune). It gets a new single-piece seat and features single-channel ABS, but lacks Bluetooth smartphone connectivity or navigation. While the absence of these features might be a drawback for some, this variant is ideal for those who prioritize an affordable price point without needing too many extras, and want the single-piece seat for added convenience and comfort.

    Split-Seat, Dual-Channel ABS

Moving up, this now middle-spec variant, is priced at Rs 1,31,680 (ex-showroom Pune), and it has a split-seat setup that provides a sportier appearance. It features dual-channel ABS, smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts. This variant adds more value for riders who want features and a sportier look with the split-seats. It costs Rs 9,958 more than the base model.

    Split-Seat, Inverted Fork

This is the most expensive variant and it is priced at Rs 1,39,693 (ex-showroom Pune). It stands out with its golden coloured inverted fork, which gives it a premium look. It is the most feature packed variant with not only smartphone connectivity for call and SMS alerts, and turn-by-turn navigation, but also has three ABS modes: Road, Rain, and Off-road.

    BikeDekho Says

With the launch of the new single-seat variant, Bajaj has made the Pulsar N160 more affordable than before. As the brand continues to evolve its offerings, this new variant provides a more affordable entry point for customers, while still delivering a sporty and stylish riding experience.

      Best bike in this segment..
Bike is very smooth in city as well as highways. It has very comfortable seat and posturing with a good mileage and smooth and refined engine. Bike is overall good by looks and performance in the segment of 160cc. I ride the bike 400km in once and it is very smooth and no vibration in handle and refined engine with soothing performance. I only stop bike for half an hour after crossing 250kms and bike is overall perfect for far journey by bike. I would like to recommend this bike to office employees who want a stable bike also mileage, performance, and good engine with a genuine budget and for family bike, it is good. This bike has it own craze in youth who want sporty bike in low budget as it is a fast commuter bike.
