It’s time to say goodbye to one of the most iconic Pulsars ever
It’s time to say goodbye to one of the most iconic Pulsars ever

Contrary to what we were previously told, it looks like Bajaj has finally pulled the plug on the Pulsar 220F. According to our sources, production has already stopped, and only the remaining stocks will be sold now. The Bajaj Pulsar 220F currently retails for Rs 1.34 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), and if you want one, we suggest you rush to your nearest Bajaj showroom.

Dubbed ‘The Fastest Indian’ in 2007, the Pulsar 220F has been one of the most popular motorcycles in the company’s lineup. Its design with the semi-fairing, complemented by clip-ons and split seats, makes the Pulsar 220F a versatile (and sporty) bike.

However, the bike has failed to step up to the plate in the face of increasing competition. And as a result, it has now been replaced by the new Pulsar F250. Compared to the 220F, the F250 makes more power, gets better underpinnings and features, (and costs Rs Rs 6,000 more).
Nevertheless, the Pulsar 220F will surely be missed. After all, it was the motorcycle that most of us looked up to during our childhood and dreamt of owning one day. Adios, legend!

- Power on a BudgetAt the heart of the 220F is its 220cc oil-cooled engine, delivering approximately 20.4 PS and 18.55 Nm of torque. Owners consistently praise its mid-range grunt, which makes highway cruising effortless. While it lacks the high-tech refinement of newer liquid-cooled rivals, its linear power delivery is predictable and satisfying for both beginners and experienced tourers.Read More6 4
