Bajaj has silently updated the Pulsar 150 series for 2019. The bikes to be updated for 2019 are the Pulsar 150, Pulsar 150 Classic Black and Pulsar 150 Dual Disc. The new bikes have started arriving in showrooms across India.

Of the three, the top-spec Pulsar 150 Dual Disc gets a new belly pan fairing, split grab rails and faux carbon fiber finish on the side panels. You also get bright blue graphics on the black variant with blue split rim tapes.

In contrast, the base Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 150 Classic Black get just red painted emblems on the fuel tank, grab rails, rim tapes and mesh on the side panels. While pricing for the Pulsar 150 (Rs 65,446) and Pulsar 150 Classic Black (Rs 75,072) remain unchanged, the Pulsar 150 dual disc at Rs 79,898 now costs Rs 1280 more. (all prices ex-showroom Pune).

The updates are cosmetic and mechanically the bikes remain the same. Power comes from the 149cc air-cooled single-cylinder motor that makes 14PS and 13Nm and is mated to a five-speed gearbox. The bikes sit on a double cradle frame with conventional telescopic front forks and twin rear gas charged shock absorbers. The Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 150 Classic Black get a front 240mm disc and rear drum brake. The top spec Pulsar 150 dual disc meanwhile gets a larger 260mm front disc and 230mm rear disc. While ABS is not available, Bajaj is expected to get launch an ABS equipped Pulsar 150 soon.

Competition for the Bajaj Pulsar 150 comes from the Honda Unicorn 150 and the Hero Xtreme Sports.
