Bajaj Pulsar 150 Neon Receives A Minor Update

The bike’s price has remained unchanged

The update is only cosmetic, with the mechanicals unchanged. Compared to the standard model, the Neon variant is more affordable by Rs 10,758. The Neon variant was first launched back in November 2018.

Bajaj has updated the Pulsar 150 Neon with tank extensions, which looks similar to the one in the standard Pulsar 150. The update is likely an attempt to differentiate it from its smaller sibling, the Pulsar 125 Neon. Apart from the addition of fuel tank extensions, the bike remains unchanged mechanically. Interestingly, Bajaj offers the update without any hike in price, and it continues to be sold for Rs 75,200 (ex-showroom Delhi). Compared to the regular Pulsar 150, the Neon version is more affordable by Rs 10,758. The Pulsar 150 Neon is available in three colours: Neon Red, Neon Silver and Neon Lime Green (matte grey with yellow highlights).

The Neon variant was first launched in November 2018 and was the most affordable Pulsar back then. However, now the crown belongs to the Pulsar 125 Neon, which costs Rs 66,618. But as far as the 150cc category is concerned, the Pulsar 150 Neon is still the most affordable bike. The Bajaj Pulsar 150 Neon continues to be powered by a 149.5cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor which churns out 14PS and 13.4Nm. The motor is paired with a 5-speed transmission. Suspension components include telescopic forks and twin Nitrox shock absorbers at the rear. The bike comes to a halt using a 240mm disc up front with a single-channel ABS and a 130mm drum at the rear. The closest competitor in terms of pricing is the Honda CB Unicorn 150 which costs Rs 80,277, (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).
