Bajaj Dominar 400 Gets New Touring Accessories

Over the last couple of months, Pune-based Autologue Design has been busy developing a touring kit for the new Dominar 400. And now, the company has announced that the kit is ready! The design firm will be manufacturing touring accessories for the Dominar, which will be available on its website and at Bajaj dealerships as well. This new touring kit costs Rs 15,750, but Autologue is offering a 20 percent discount for the first 50 customers. The new accessories can be fitted on the previous-gen Dominar 400 as well.

The new kit comprises of six components: a visor, tank grip, back rest, top rack, saddle stay and an engine bash plate. These components can be bought separately as well. 

Tank visor (Rs 2,630):
This 17.5-inch tall visor is made of 3mm thick acrylic for better durability and reduced wind buffeting. It mounts on the same points as the stock visor so that no modifications are required. The visor is available in clear and smoked shade.

Tank grips (Rs 985):
These rubber tank grips get a diamond-like pattern to better hold the fuel tank sides with your knees and thighs. 

Saddle stay (Rs 3,680):
These saddle mounts are made of thick gauge mild steel tubing that are bent to shape with a CNC machine for a precise curvature. It can support upto 120kg of load. The setup bolts on to the grab rail mounts and rear footpegs so that no modification or drilling is needed.

Top rack (Rs 3,125):
Made of 18 gauge mild steel tubing and 3mm mild steel plate, the rack has slots to easily attach a top box. Like the other components here, the top rack sits on the Dominar’s stock mounting points.

Back rest (Rs 2,045):
This pillion back rest is made of 18 gauge mild steel and directly fits on the grab rail mounts so no modification is needed. The back rest has been designed to seamlessly fit with other Autologue accessories like the saddle stay. 

Bash plate (Rs 3,285):
Useful on off road sections, this bash plate should protect the bottom part of your engine from rocks and debris. It is made of 3mm mild steel and is thick enough to prevent damage. It mounts in place of the plastic underbelly cowl.
