This neo-retro scooter shares a lot common with the Fascino
Yamaha has launched the 2022 iteration of its neo retro Fazzio scooter in Thailand. Sporting quirky looks along with vibrant colours, here’s all you need to know about this 125cc scoot from Team Blue.
This scooter packs a design that is balanced between retro elements and youthful touches. The round LED headlight, dual-tone paint scheme and centre brace on the apron accentuate the neo-retro styling.
It gets four colour options for the standard version: Green, Red, Gray and Yellow. The special edition variant gets only two dual-tone color options, namely Black-Green and Grey-Orange.
The Black-Green dual-tone paint scheme looks particularly stunning in our opinion.
Powering the Fazzio is a 124.86cc single-cylinder mill that produces 8.42PS and 10.6Nm. It also gets Yamaha’s Blue Core Hybrid technology. This setup seems similar to the Yamaha Fascino 125, which also features the same hybrid system, and makes 8.2PS and 10.3Nm.
Yamaha has equipped the Fazzio with some nifty features too, like LED illumination, fully digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, a phone charging socket and a keyless lock system.
Underpinnings of the Fazzio include a telescopic fork and a monoshock. Braking duties have been entrusted to a front disc and rear drum brake. It comes with the safety net of combination braking system, which in Yamaha’s nomenclature is called Unified Braking System (UBS).
It rides on 110/70-12 front and rear alloys wrapped in tubeless tyres, and it gets a 5.1-litre fuel tank. The Fazzio is a light weight scooter, tipping the scales at a mere 96kg.
The Fazzio, earlier available only in Indonesia, is now also launched in Thailand. While under the skin it shares a lot in common with the Fascino, it is unlikely that the Fazzio will come to India.
This scooter is available in two variants, Standard and Smart Key, which are priced at THB 54,900 and THB 56,600 respectively (approximately around Rs 1.20 - Rs 1.22 lakh). This makes the Fazzio significantly more expensive than the Fascino.

Good driving with pillion. Nice pickup power, must maintain periodically without fail or it will issue its mileage and performance. 2025 January I have purchased this fascino 125 vehicle, very comfortable journey and nice experience while riding in this scooter but cost is little more expensive in my opinion. It would better if it can affordable at low budget. This is eco friendly vehicle. I have ride this vehicle almost 5,000 km very nice experience. I felt very easy to control, less weight easy to turn suddenly, good budget friendly vehicle, very smooth while riding no shaking or vibration. Yes, I will definitely recommend to my family, Relatives and friends. For Looks and spacious, because of the hybrid system , bluetooth connectivity, other scooter have classy but i selected for over all features, other scooters does not offers many features at that time. Engine get noisy within 300 km if we have habbit of sudden throttling and habit of rash driving so bike must be handled slow and gradual increase in throttle then we wont get any noise,it will settle after several km of slow and steady throttling, speedometer wire get become faulty 6 months once , scooter will accelerate itself after 6 month because of some fault in accelerator wire at fist it will 10 km/h then if we did not fix it with mechanic it will gradually increase and go upto 40 km/h when we start the bike its act a cruise control but we need do unwanted breaking and loss in mileage, breaks must be periodically tightened other it will become loose, I do not have experience with other bike hence this is my first bike I do not have any experience with other scooters so I do not have knowledge and experience to comment about this , bike have good pickup once we reached a speed of 40 to 60 km per hour then we can over take anything without any lag , but at first 40 km we will feel rubber band effect . the speed meter wire is not up to the mark.. every pot hole feels like you got into it and the front wheel touches the protector so it makes noise. the real world mileage for an average driver would come down to 50kmpl. Not suitable for heavy weight drivers. Take it only if you like the design. should consider other options before you take it.Read More
