TVS Motors launches its new bike 2012 TVS Star City model. 2012 TVS Star City comes at an ex-showroom price of 38,650 in Delhi, with 5-year warranty. 2012 TVS Star City is a 110 cc bike with 8.2 bhp. 2012 TVS Star City comes with an option of dual tone body colors. There are six dual tone combinations available in the market. The company has come up with some changes in looks of the bike. TVS company have made changes to to head lamp and to the indicators. The company has decided to carry on with some of the features like black alloy wheels, backlit speedometer, and econometer which were present in TVS Star City, the preceded model of 2012 TVS Star City. And this bike is a also a four-stroke engine model. Both models stood apart from the other bikes in giving best mileage. Also these bikes comes at an affordable price.

Along with 2012 TVS Star City launch, there was a launch of another bike KTM 200 Duke from Bajaj. Baja company has launched the first bike of KTM brand in India.  KTM 200 Duke launch was extremely awaited in the market. The new 2012 TVS Star City comes with alloy wheels and self-start mechanism. This vehicle has a top speed of 85 kmph. The fuel consumption under city condition is 50 kmpl and on highways this bikes is 83 kmpl as per ARAI standard test conditions. TVS company has fitted the 2012 TVS Star City, with continuous variable timing ignition which not only improves acceleration but also it will improve the performance of the vehicle by consuming less amount of fuel by using swirl and tumble motion. The vehicle has four gears.
