Honda CB Shine and Bajaj Pulsar range witness substantial growth, while rivals see a downfall
The 125cc motorcycle segment has been one of the best-selling segments in the country. While the players on the sales chart have stayed the same, there has been a significant shuffle with respect to their numbers. Here's the list of five best-selling 125cc bikes in January 2022.
The month-on-month sales of the Honda CB Shine and the Bajaj Pulsar range have skyrocketed. The CB Shine has witnessed a growth of 56.19 percent and has also retained its top spot on the sales chart. Meanwhile, the Pulsar range has moved up from third to the second position with a hike of 53.47 percent in January 2022.

The sales of the Hero Glamour, TVS Raider, and the Hero Super Splendor, on the other hand, have dipped by 20.25 percent, 2.16 percent, and 31.01 percent respectively. The Hero Glamour has dropped from the second to the third spot, while the positions of the TVS Raider and the Hero Super Splendor have interchanged. The TVS Raider seems to be performing really well and it could increase the sales figures with increasing popularity.
In related news, the Honda CB Shine has recently crossed the one million sales mark, while Bajaj and TVS have recently trademarked the names 'Twinner' and 'Fiero 125' for their upcoming motorcycles. Hero Motocorp on the other hand has started accepting bookings for the second batch of the XPulse 200 4V.
