The KTM 390 Duke has always been the benchmark in its segment when it comes to features. Now in its third generation, the bike gets features which can put even more expensive bikes to shame. So if you’ve been thinking about this bike, here’s a quick rundown on the different kinds of features the recently launched 350cc KTM 390 Duke has:
Convenience Features
The bike comes with all-LED lighting, and the headlight is reasonably strong and has a good throw. Then you have a bidirectional quickshifter and a slipper clutch, which ensures you can shift gears at the blink of an eye and the rear wheel doesn’t lock up when you downshift hard.
Taking the seriousness up a bit is the adjustable suspension. While the stock suspension is quite good, you can always tune it further to set the bike up according to your weight and riding style.
The bike’s big TFT display also makes things more convenient, for it has Bluetooth connectivity, music control, and turn-by-turn navigation, all of which make life simpler.
And then there’s arguably the ultimate convenience feature: cruise control. We’ve said it before that the 390 Duke makes for a fantastic tourer, and a cruise control system is invaluable to have for a tourer. So if you’re fantasising about setting the speed on your bike and letting it do its thing, the 390 Duke is up for it!
Safety Features
Even the new 350cc KTM 390 Duke, with a smaller engine, is no joke, and it’s still a powerful bike. For starters, you've got dual-channel ABS which can be switched off for the rear wheel (KTM likes to call it Supermoto ABS). You also get lean-sensitive ABS, meaning it adjusts brake pressure according to your lean angle.
The same is the case with the bike’s traction control, which too is lean-sensitive and can be switched off.
And finally, there are 3 riding modes – Rain, Street and Track, which alter the ABS, traction control and power of the bike.
Next on the list is launch control, a feature we usually expect from much bigger bikes. This feature locks revvs in at 7000rpm and it’s designed to give you the best starts off the line.

Best bike for those who want performance and electronics or i can say that perfect combination of power and safety. If you are buying this motorcycle directly and have not driven a 390cc before, then this 350cc engine will give you the best performance. All the features are the same. Only the engine has a little less power, but that 4-5 bhp is not noticeable. To be honest, I was confused between this and the the Triumph speed 400 but the 390 is just a different vibe. It's got an aggressive look that stands out in the college parking, plus in mumbai u need that instant power to gap vehicles. Nothing in this budget gives you this much performance , power , feel and technology its a beast!!.The acceleration is very unreal , but the enginge gets quite hot when you're stuck at a signal for too long. Suspension is a bit stiff, so you'll feel the mumbai potholes , but on highsway its very stable. Handling is very light yess but keep in mind its not a family bike. its for people who love speed and beginners pls stay away cuz power delivery is very sharppp. Best 400cc .
