Yamaha has unveiled Cygnus Ray-ZR on February 3 at the 2016 Auto Expo. This new 113cc scooter is an updated version of the ongoing Ray-Z and comes in two trims. The base trim does not feature disc brake whereas the other variant has disc brake at the front wheel. Ray-ZR will retain the same single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC two-valve engine that is present in current Ray-Z. However, it has been given a new instrument cluster and gets a massive 21-litre under seat storage. When launched in India, the scooter will rival Honda Dio and Hero Maestro Edge as it has similar sporty looks and a dual-tone colour scheme like its competition.
