    Kawasaki Z250 Summary

    While the Z250 has been replaced by the Z300 in the international markets, Kawasaki continues to sell it here. The Z250 will eventually be discontiinued in India as well since they are selling much of it in India. Kawasaki also looking at bringing the Z400 in 2019. However, its India entry is still being speculated.

    The 249cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin, fuel-injected mill pumps out 32PS of power and 21Nm of torque. in this day and age, the figures look quite primitve, especially going by the competition offer, that too at a much affordable standpoint. Currently, the Z250 is priced at Rs. 3. 08 lakh (ex-showroom), which is Rs 10,000 more than even the Ninja 300.

    Overview

    Kawasaki Z250 belongs to the Z-series of Kawasaki motorcycles. It is a naked street motorcycle offered by the Japanese manufacturer, which is furnished with premium body styling and an uncompromised ride quality. The bike was introduced in India with the aim to targeting the youth who is looking for a power-packed naked bike at a worthy price.

    The bike features a 249cc, liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine which comes linked to a six-speed gearbox. The mill churns out a maximum power of 31.5bhp at 11000 rpm with a peak torque of 21 Nm at 10000 rpm. With the carbureted engine set up, the bike reaches a top speed of 170kmph.

    This naked bike is bolted on a semi double cradle, high tensile steel frame and progress on 110/70-17” front and 140/70-17” rear tubeless tyres which come fitted to elegant black mag alloy wheels. Furthermore, it is configured with the suspension system, which comprises telescopic forks at the front and bottom link Uni-trak with gas charged mono-shock at the rear end. The fierce stopping power is provided by 290mm single disc brake with twin piston callipers at the front and 220mm disc brake with twin-piston calliper at the rear.

    The front profile of the bike equipped with a twin triangular headlamp section with a small visor that provides the bike a naked look. The edgy tank shrouds fitted over the fuel tank that looks amazing along with the engine cowl. Furthermore, it also equipped with a split seat that adds hostility to its character. Talking about the rear, the motorcycle blessed with a hexagonal shaped tail lamp along with clear lens turn blinkers that look awesome.

    The bike comes with an overall measurement of 2010 mm in length, 750 mm in width and 1020 mm in height along with a wheelbase of 1400 mm.
