Kawasaki Z650RS Design
The Kawasaki Z650RS has a neo-retro design that includes a metal fuel tank, twin-pod instrument cluster, a round headlight and a clean-looking tail section which goes well with the overall retro design. From the front, the bike looks like a proper retro motorcycle thanks to the round LED headlight and cluster, while it looks quite compact from the sides. There is only one available colour option for the Z650RS and it goes well with the overall design of the motorcycle along with the golden coloured graphics.
Kawasaki Z650RS Engine
The Kawasaki Z650RS gets a 649cc parallel-twin motor which makes 68PS at 8,000rpm and 64Nm at 6,700rpm. There is a 6-speed gearbox along with a slipper clutch.
Kawasaki Z650RS Chassis, Suspension And Brake
The Kawasaki Z650RS uses a steel trellis frame with a 41mm conventional telescopic fork and a gas-charged monoshock with preload adjustability. It gets twin 300mm discs at the front and a 220mm rear disc brake setup with dual channel ABS. The motorcycle weighs 192kg (kerb), and gets a 12-litre fuel tank. The saddle height is a bit high at 800mm while the ground clearance is a bit low at 125mm.
