Vida VXZ Concept

The Vida VxZ will be Hero’s first and upcoming sporty electric bike. First showcased as the Project VxZ concept at EICMA 2025, design patent filings surfaced in 2026 indicate that it’s close to production. Also, it’s been co-developed with US-based electric bike maker Zero Motorcycles.

Price

The Vida VxZ is expected to be priced around Rs 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom).

Variants

While Hero has not yet confirmed this, multiple variants could be offered based on varying battery capacity and features, at different price points.

Design

The Vida VxZ features a sharp, muscular streetfighter design inspired by the Hero Xtreme series. It gets an aggressive LED headlamp with signature Vida DRLs, sculpted body panels, split seats, split grab rails, and five-spoke alloy wheels. It looks every bit the sporty electric bike in our opinion.

Motor & Performance

The Vida VxZ is expected to deliver performance similar to a 250cc petrol bike. It has a mid-mounted electric motor paired with a belt-drive system for smoother, quieter operation and lower maintenance compared to chain drives. That said, the availability of belt drives aren’t as widespread as chains. 

Underpinnings

The Vida VxZ appears to have a trellis frame with the battery as a stressed member, and a cast aluminium swingarm to keep weight in check. It gets an inverted fork, rear monoshock, disc brakes at both ends, and possibly dual-channel ABS. The VXZ rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. The front disc comes with a radial caliper for better braking as compared to an axial caliper.

Features

The Vida VxZ is expected to get a TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity, full-fledged navigation, multiple ride modes, phone alerts, geo-fencing, and remote immobilisation. It will also feature all-LED lighting, hazard lights, and directional switchgear controls.

Competition

The Vida VxZ’s closest alternative will be the Ultraviolette F77 Superstreet. It will also serve as an electric alternative to petrol bikes like the KTM Duke 250, TVS RTR 310, and Hero’s own Xtreme 250R.
