Suzuki Gixxer Price:
The Suzuki Gixxer is the company’s most affordable motorcycle. The Suzuki Gixxer 155 is available in a single variant. The Suzuki Gixxer’s price is set between Rs 1,34,800 - Rs 1,37,900 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Suzuki Gixxer Features:
Suzuki is not offering too many new features on the BS6 Gixxer. The Suzuki Gixxer 155 received a facelift last year with the Japanese manufacturer kitting the bike with LED headlight and tail lamp. The Gixxer gets a full-digital instrument cluster, which is slightly different from the first-gen model. The new console has a slimmer font, giving it a less cluttered look.
Suzuki Gixxer Engine:
The BS6 Suzuki Gixxer is powered by the same old 155cc single-cylinder air-cooled fuel-injected engine that you found on the BS4 bike. The BS6 motor now makes 13. 6PS at 8000rpm and 13. 8Nm at 6000rpm, 0. 5PS and 0. 2Nm lower than before. Suzuki has stuck to a five-speed transmission for the Gixxer.
Suzuki Gixxer Suspension & Brakes:
There are no changes to the foundation of the highly agile Gixxer. Suzuki has given the Gixxer a chunky telescopic fork and a mono-shock to handle suspension duties, both of which are set on the firmer side. The braking hardware consists of disc brakes at both ends with single-channel ABS coming in as standard.
Suzuki Gixxer Rivals:
The primary rivals of the Suzuki Gixxer include the Yamaha FZ-S V3, Apache RTR 160 4V, Bajaj Pulsar NS160, Hero Xtreme 160R and the upcoming Honda CB Hornet 160R. Other choices in its price bracket are the Honda X-Blade BS6, Pulsar 180F and the Apache RTR 180.
