Yamaha Scorpio Z-225 to be launched in India

Yamaha Motors has recently launched Yamaha Scorpio Z-225 in Indonesian market. Yamaha Scorpio Z-225 is entry-level sports bike that has 2 valve SOHC, air-cooled 225cc powerplant. It is expected the bike will be launched in India as well.

The highest street bike in terms of engine- Yamaha Scorpio Z-225 is similar to Hero Honda Karizma and has big engine than Bajaj Pulsar 220 DTSi. The Yamaha Scorpio cranks out top power of 18.2PS and peak torque of 17.5Nm. This engine of the motorcycle seems to similar as Yamaha FZ and Yamaha Fazer which are the most popular bikes in India. The bike has very impressive body design and includes 13 liter of fuel tank.

There is no more muscle on the body of the bike but looks like sporty bike. The bike comes loaded with 80/100-18 tyre at front and 100/90-18 rear that provide it sporty image in the segment. Maximum weight of the bike is 141kgs. Rest of features include front fender, Big visor, Muscular front fender, Body chassis, Sporty rear fender and funky graphics pasted on the body of the bike whereas engine of the bike is painted with silver colour which make it different in the segment.

India Yamaha Motors has not disclosed any information about the launch of this bike but it is expected that the Yamaha Scorpio Z-225 will come in India.
