Yamaha Motor India has opened two new dealerships in Maharashtra, India. Located on Link Road, Andheri West, Mumbai, the first facility has commenced its business under the name “Zika Motors”. It is built in 5000 sq. ft. area and has been designed to carry on both sales and service. On the other hand, second dealership - ‘Sahil Yamaha’ is spread over 4800 sq. ft. area and is located at Bhoisar-Tarapur Road, Palghar District, Maharashtra. The inauguration of both the dealerships was done with the auspicious hands of Mr. Masaki Asano, Managing Director and Mr. Roy Kurian, Vice President-Sales & Marketing, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd.
Complete range of Yamaha products has been put on show and the dealerships are ready to serve & sell the entire product portfolio. The products are as follows: YBR 110, YBR 125, Saluto 125, YZF R15 V2.0, Fazer FI V2.0, Fazer, FZS FI V2.0, FZS, FZ FI V2.0, FZ, SZ-RR V2.0, SZ-RR, SZ-S, SS125, Crux, Fascino, Alpha, Ray-Z and Ray.
The new openings are a result of Yamaha Motor India Sales’ strong performance in 2014 with a 23% sales growth. By the end of this year, Yamaha Motor India Sales plans to increase its customer touch points from 1,300 to 2,300. The increasing demand for Yamaha two-wheelers has forced the company to add more dealership networks in the country.
