Recently, Yamaha Motor India launched the upgraded version of its most popular bike FZ recently with new style, fuel injection and Blue Core technology. Now, the company is set to bring an upgraded version of the Fazer. The bike christened as the Yamaha Fazer FI Version 2.0 has already reached to some dealerships, which hints that its launch is near now.
Like the first version of the bike, Yamaha Fazer FI V2.0 will be a semi faired model of the new FZ FI Version 2.0. The bike features new appearance with new fairing, headlamps, rear cowls, split seat, rear grab rail, tail lamp, rear hugger fender, sporty muffler, single screen digital display and new colours/graphics.
The version 2.0 houses the new 149cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, equipped with fuel injection and patented Blue Core technology. The company claims that this new motor develops 12.9bhp of maximum power and 12.8Nm of peak torque along with an improved mileage of 14 percent.
The upcoming Yamaha Fazer FI Ver. 2.0 is expected to be launched within this month and its price in India would be around Rs. 83,250.
