Soaring high on the consistent success of its product portfolio and innovative marketing strategies, India Yamaha Motor registered a sales growth of 30% in June 2011 with sale of 36,595 units vs. 28,155 units in June 2010. In domestic markets, the sales grew 28.9% year-over-year at 27,263 units in June 2011 vs. 21,157 units sold last year. The export figures stood at 9,332 units in June 2011 while 6,998 motorcycles were exported in June 2010, a growth of 33.3%.
Speaking on the results, Mr. Jun Nakata, Director - Sales & Marketing, India Yamaha Motor, said, “We are very delighted with the consistent sales growth that we’ve been witnessing this year. The launch of the new variants of Yamaha FZ series is driving our sales in both domestic and export markets. We plan to reach out to customers in tier II and tier III cities and are expanding our sales & service network. Our efforts towards enhancing our relationship with our esteemed customers through various initiatives like the Yamaha Safe Riding Science, Yamaha R15 One Make Race Championships and the Sales & Service camps have also been very fruitful.”
The brand had also set its eyes on the game of Football as it exclusively organized the Yamaha ASEAN CUP U-13 Football 2011 for the first time in India. The tournament winner – Team Kolkata is representing India Yamaha Motor at the third Yamaha ASEAN Cup U-13 Football Finals to be held in Thailand from July 15-17, 2011. They will be competing against teams from 5 Asian countries namely - Thailand (2), Indonesia, Vietnam & Malaysia. Yamaha bike portfolio includes the bikes like Yamaha FZS, Yamaha SZ, Yamaha R15, Yamaha YBR, Yamaha YZF R1, Yamaha Fazer, etc.

Overall good. FZ S FI version 2 great bike, low maintenance, comfortable one which never disappointed when ride, never breakdown during ride but it want service on time. It never break your trust, speed on average, gives mileage of 45 km per litter on 60 to 70 speed. Excellent performance, suspension is good.

This bike is superb for all type of driving. You feel very comfortable while driving with low maintenance cost. It reaches speed from 0 to 60 in 3.8 second. I suggest everyone to buy this bike. It is worth it, you will never regret after buying this bike. Bike is good. Overall Nice experience. I like it.

It feels very confident when I ride this bike, the comfort, stability, performance, style every thing is top notch. The engine in this bike is very powerful and never disappoint me so far as I am using this bike from past 10 years, service cost is also minimal, I would suggest this bike to someone who loves performance and style.

Yamaha FZ - S V2 in very good condition. A reliable companion for daily commute. The bike has been well maintained and great running condition. The odometer currently reads 23600 Km, and has been serviced regularly. Both tyres are in good shape and with great road grip. The bike has been kept in covered parking, protected from weather related wear and tear.
