Updated Vespa BS6 Range Showcased At Auto Expo 2020

The updated scooters will be launched in India by April this year

We don’t know how to say this but here it goes -- the Piaggio Group stole the limelight at this year’s auto expo. The Italian brand was the only manufacturer that brought something exciting with it at the event. And in the middle of the new Aprilia scooters and the RSV4 1100 Factory, Vespa showcased its entire range of updated BS6 products.

Vespa had already launched the BS6 range of scooters a few months back, making it one of the first manufacturers to completely update its lineup to meet the new emission norms. However, we were under the impression that Vespa may bring some new features or cosmetic changes to the BS6-compliant models. But what we got was similar-looking scooters. However, Vespa will bring the updated versions of these BS6-compliant scooters soon, which will come with LED headlamps.
Usually, for a difference so minuscule, brands will hike the price by around Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000, but Vespa (bring a premium Italian brand) had increased the prices by up to Rs 18,000 when it first launched its BS6 range. So we don't know for sure if Vespa will increase the price further or not! Apart from the updated motor, there aren’t any other mechanical changes.
What do you think? Is the insane price increment justifiable? Let us know in the comments.

- Best scooty in budget priceVery good engine and build quality . Low maintenance scooty in budget price. Very smooth when riding and comfortable in long journey.1
- Good Scooter but less MileageAs I am riding this scooter for more than a year now, I am not much satisfied with the Mileage but runs smooth compared to other scooters.
- Not A Good OptionI bought a VXL 125 to use locally regularly. The buying process goes well. The fuel gauge indication, however, is the primary issue with the Vespa. This issue was not resolved by the service center. This issue affects all Vespa motorcycles. So look at this before purchasing the bike. Additionally, the service was poor and cost a lot more. I advise switching to a different brand and type of scooter.Read More3
- Vespa VXL has strong engineI was confused about which Vespa to take but ended up buying Vespa VXL and I am happy with it. There were two options but I bought the premium version which offers kick with electric start, along with disc brakes and drum brakes. The engine capacity is very strong and it appears bold and gives more confidence while driving. My biggest reason for buying Vespa VXL was due to modern updates and its features give a more authentic and upgraded appearance to the scooter. Plus, the fit and finish and seat cushioning add more value to the scooter. I would recommend Vespa VXLRead More1
- Good fuel tank capacityThe Vespa VXL is a scooter that is notable for both its respectable fuel tank capacity and its fashionable look. The Vespa VXL has a bigger petrol tank than many other scooters in its class, enabling longer travels without the need for frequent fuel stops. Riders who routinely commute or like long-distance travel would particularly benefit from this. The Vespa VXL is more convenient and practical since it has a longer range. As a whole Vespa VXL is unquestionably an option to think about if you appreciate a large gasoline tank capacity.Read More
