The much anticipated product from TVS - Apache RTR 200 has been spotted again doing final test runs, this time on the roads of Indonesia. In the recent spy shots, some more details of the bike have appeared like a completely revised muffler and a new tail lamp unit. The bike is expected to be launched at the 2016 Indian Auto Expo that is scheduled from 5th to 9th Feb, 2016 in Greater Noida. As per long running speculations, the 200cc Apache will come inspired by the Draken Concept that was showcased at the Auto Expo last year. As per the sources, an updated version of the Apache RTR 180 will also make it to the 2016 event.

In August this year, the Hosur-based manufacturer reported that it would bring a new Apache model along with two updated products in the next six months. Few days back, we shared a teaser image of the new RTRs, which is doing rounds on the internet nowadays. Besides cosmetic and mechanical upgrades, the upcoming RTR 200 will also come equipped with an under seat mobile charger, which the company names as iCharger. Furthermore, the bike has also been bestowed with an integrated race-inspired instrument cluster that also houses side stand & parking indicators.

Powering the bike is a 200cc, liquid-cooled, fuel injected engine that will churn power over 22bhp. The bike receives Michelin dual compound tyres for better grip and good on-road stability. For a more responsive braking, the manufacturer has installed ABS in the bike that presently comes only in the 180cc version as an option. Talking of price, the new Apache RTR 200 will be priced somewhere over Rs. 1 lac and might prove the best option in this segment.
