TVS Raider 125 ABS Launch Soon: Stylish And Safe
The updated bike has been spotted, and it’s the first time the Raider 125 gets ABS
Quick Highlights
-
It has single-channel ABS
-
It now gets a disc brake on the rear wheel
-
Updates also include a new paint scheme
TVS has silently introduced the 2025 Raider 125 with a whole bunch of updates. It seems to be based on the iGo variant, which sits right in the middle of the variants list. While we await an official launch, the updated bike has reached select TVS dealerships in India.
2025 TVS Raider 125 ABS Updates
The biggest and the most important update on the new tvs raider is the addition of single channel ABS and a rear disc brake; none of the currently-listed variants on TVS’ website have it. The rear disc will most likely be 220mm – the front disc is 240mm, just like in the other variants. Addition of ABS is definitely a good thing since it ups the safety quotient of the bike by preventing the wheel from locking up under hard braking. Single-channel ABS means the system works only on the front wheel.
TVS has also changed the Raider’s tyre sizes, they’re now fatter. The bike sports a 90/90-17 front tyre, and a 110/80-17 rear tyre. In comparison, the current model currently has a 80/100-17 front tyre and a 100/90-17 rear tyre. The increased width could help make the Raider more stable on straight roads, while the lower sidewall thickness could make the ride sportier – however that remains to be seen till we ride the bike.
The last update is the new red paint scheme. It has white stripes on a red fuel tank, a red front wheel, and a black rear wheel. This two-tone paint scheme is a completely new graphic style for the Raider, and we really like it. That said, the bike has an LCD console, not the top-end variant’s TFT unit. Considering the graphics and the instrument console, this could very well be the iGo variant.
The TVS Raider currently has 5 variants, and we have explained all the differences between these variants.
2025 TVS Raider 125 Price
Currently, the TVS Raider 125 iGo price is Rs 90,500 while the top-end SX variant is priced at Rs 94,500 (both ex-showroom, Delhi). Adding ABS is not a cheap affair, so by this logic, we expect the new iGo variant, with all the updates, to cost as much or maybe even a bit more than the SX variant. There seem to be no other mechanical changes to the bike, but we shall confirm that once we get an official announcement from TVS.

It's a very good bike for the city riders and it will be very useful for the middle class people, look wise very good, especially come to mileage it's a decent and good bike for the safety wise and the colour 8 taken its grey colour there, are so many colours in TVs raider but I took this sexy colour, the most important thing is bike height is very mid range, whenever I went outside this bike look will be just fire, while riding this bike gives a special feeling that other bikes won't give that feeling.Read More

I bough this TVS raider in Jan 2026. Till now, i did not face any issues with it. This costs around 1.25 Lakhs including EMI. This can be a good commuter bike in 125cc bike models. E20 facility is also added in this bike. Handling is very good in this bike. I feel so comfortable when i ride on highways. I like rear foot support to provide comfort for pillion rider while having seat. Good mileage bike under 125cc bikes. This is kind of family bike with sporty look. City riding people can prefer this mostly. This is a best mileage bike under 1.25Lakhs. i would recommend to change the colour of ABS channel(red colour) to black. Read More
