TVS Raider 125 ABS India Launch: Expected Price, Features, And More
This is the first sporty 125cc commuter bike to get a rear disc brake
The TVS Raider 125 is set to receive an update soon in the form of added safety features, and new colours. The bike has already started reaching select dealerships, hinting at an official launch in the near future. Here’s a look at what’s new and what you can expect.
Single-Channel ABS
The most significant addition is single-channel ABS, marking the first time the Raider gets this safety feature. Alongside it, TVS has introduced a rear disc brake (likely 220mm) to complement the existing 240mm front disc. While the ABS works only on the front wheel, it should still improve rider safety by reducing chances of front wheel lock during panic or hard braking.
Other Changes
TVS has also introduced a new, dual-tone red colour with contrasting white stripes. It gets a red-painted front wheel, and a black rear wheel. This two-tone finish gives the bike a fresher, more youthful appearance. However, the model spotted continues with the LCD instrument cluster and not the TFT display offered on the top-spec SX variant.
Fatter Tyres
The tvs raider has wider tyres: a 90-section front and 110-section rear. The current variants use slimmer 80-section and 100-section tyres. The broader profile should add straight-line stability and slightly sportier handling, though the real-world difference will only be clear once we ride it.
Variants & Pricing
The TVS Raider 125 currently comes in five variants, with the base drum variant priced at Rs 80,500 and the SX topping at Rs 94,500 (ex-showroom). The ABS and rear disc will add to the cost, so we expect this new variant to be priced close to the SX variant.

- Good response from the customerI bough this TVS raider in Jan 2026. Till now, i did not face any issues with it. This costs around 1.25 Lakhs including EMI. This can be a good commuter bike in 125cc bike models. E20 facility is also added in this bike. Handling is very good in this bike. I feel so comfortable when i ride on highways. I like rear foot support to provide comfort for pillion rider while having seat. Good mileage bike under 125cc bikes. This is kind of family bike with sporty look.
