TVS NTorq 150: EMI Buying Guide

If you are considering getting the Ntorq 150 on EMI, this buying guide will help you take the right financial decision

The TVS Ntorq 150 is a sporty 150cc scooter that offers a step up above the Ntorq 125. The scooter starts for Rs 1,09,400 (ex-showroom, Delhi). If you are planning to buy one on loan, here’s a guide to help you understand how much EMI you will have to pay for multiple loan tenures, with a downpayment of Rs 20,000.

18-Month Loan Tenure

At an interest of 9.7 percent, you will have to pay Rs 6,435 as EMI if you’re taking an 18-month tenure.

That totals to Rs 1,15,830 paid back to the bank. That coupled with the downpayment totals to Rs 1,35,830 for the  TVS Ntorq 150.

2-Year Loan Tenure

With a 2-year loan scheme, you will get the benefit of a slightly lower EMI of Rs 5,263. While the EMI goes down, the total loan repayment amount goes up to Rs 1,26,312. That brings the total cost of the scooter to Rs 1,46,312.

3-Year Loan Tenure

The 3-year loan scheme will give you quite a low EMI of Rs 3,675. However, the total loan repayment comes to Rs 1,32,300. That brings the total purchase cost of the scooter to Rs 1,52,300.

BikeDekho Says

Buying a scooter on EMI is a good way to reduce the load of upfront payment, and plan finances better. That said, longer the loan period, higher the interest that you will have to pay. To give you a better picture, for a tenure of 18 months, you will pay a total interest of Rs 8,429, while for a 3-year tenure, you will pay Rs 17,899 just as interest. So, while applying for a loan, you will have to check this properly to see what you feel comfortable with.

All said, loan terms are quite subjective and change as per the person applying for the loan. If the applicant’s CIBIL score is good, better loan terms and lower downpayment options may be available. best sporty scooter under 1.5 Lakhs

I have used ntorq 125 in the past and decided to upgrade to ntorq 150 because I liked the new design and TFT display, the performance is good and best thing is that this machine is very quick you won't be disappointed with it's performance. Ntorq 150 gives confidence and its stable at high speed, abs works fine, lights are great, TFT display looks good but it could be brighter and the boot space is quite small as no it does not fit a full size helmet. I would recommend this scooter If you want a some kind of compact sporty scooter with good mileage and features, yes you can go for it it won't disappoint you but TVS should have used 14 inches wheels and LC engine that's a huge bummer.Read More

Saved Up for the Race XP

I wanted a scooter that did not feel slow. After riding my cousin’s Ntorq 150 on a short trip I was shocked by its power. It looked aggressive and felt like a sports bike but with scooter comfort. I loved the digital meter and sound. I saved up for 4 months and finally got the Race XP variant. It has been thrilling. The ride is smooth and fast. I take it to college, gym and even long night rides. It handles bumps well and feels stable on curves. The Bluetooth music control and navigation help me a lot. Definitely yes If someone wants a scooter that gives you power, features and fun this is the one. I tell everyone to test ride it once before choosing any other scooter. It is perfect for city rides and short weekend trips. Totally happy with my choice!Read More

Test Ride Changed My Mind

I did not plan to buy Ntorq 150 at all. I went to buy different scooter but the showroom guy insisted I try it once. The power shocked me. It was not even my budget but I stretched it and I am so glad I did. You know something’s right when it makes you change your plan in 10 minutes. Feels powerful yet smooth. The controls respond quickly and I have never felt unsafe even in bad weather. It is been 1 year now and I still enjoy it every day. I even gifted a ride to my dad once and he said it felt like a plane on wheels. That moment made me proud of my choice. Yes, yes, yes. Sometimes we plan one thing but the destiny puts better options in front of us. That is what this scooter was for me. Great features, performance and surprisingly good mileage too. Everyone should test ride it once that is all it takes.Read More
