TVS Motors has revealed the specifications of the BS6-compliant NTorq 125. Fortunately, it hasnāt lost out on power. But it does weigh more than before due to the added mechanicals and a slightly larger fuel tank. The changes have resulted in a starting price of Rs 65,975 for the drum variant, a little over Rs 6,500 compared to the BS4 model.
The NTorqās BS6-compliant 124.8cc single-cylinder motor makes the same power and torque as before -- 9.4PS at 7500rpm and 10.5Nm at 5500rpm. That said, the addition of fuel injection and a larger cat-con has resulted in a weight gain of 1.9kg over the BS4 model. On the bright side, the scooterās fuel tank capacity has also gone up -- 5.8 litres as opposed to the previous 5 litres.
There are minor changes to the dimensions as well, it's 3mm shorter and 4mm narrower than before. However, its wheelbase remains unchanged at 1285mm. It uses the same hardware as before - a telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. You can either opt for a 220mm disc or 130mm drum brake with Synchronized Braking Technology (SBT) up front while the rear comes equipped with a 130mm drum. In terms of competition, the TVS NTorq 125 goes up against the Aprilia SR 125 BS6, Suzuki Burgman Street, Honda Grazia and the Hero Maestro Edge 125.

- NTORQ 125 ReviewSporty and stylish looking scooter. The scooter provides comfort for long distance travels. The quick acceleration is also a key factor. Best scooter in this price range with 125cc and disc brake and bluetooth feature. Positives include the price mainly, then there are the looks, about how sporty it looks. Having bluetooth at the price range is a steal. usually, base models scooters in this price range doesn't offer disc brake, they are usually drum brakes which is not the case here. Yes, I would absolutely love to recommend this scooter with anybody. The bluetooth disc brakes and price range will be the main reason for it. Also, TVS provides great service. - Awesome to ridePurchased the scooty in feb 2026 and so far have driven nearly 3500 kms. The scooty is awesome to ride, easy to handle, and easy to maintain.
