TVS Jupiter ZX Launched with New Colours and Features, Priced at Rs. 52,426

After selling more than 5 lac units of the Jupiter, TVS Motor has now launched its new version- Jupiter ZX. The new model is based on the limited edition, which was launched in the starting of this year, and it costs Rs. 2,000 extra over the standard version. The ZX version has been priced at Rs. 52,426 (ex-showroom, Mumbai) with some extra features and 2 new colour options- Stallion Brown and Matte Blue.

The new TVS Jupiter ZX features Beige inner panels and stylish Brown ‘Dura Cool’ seat. The company claims that the new seat retains heat for lesser time and cool down easily after parking in direct sunlight. Other features and specifications of the ZX version are similar to the standard one. Apart from the new colour options, the company might also continue the other 6 shades including Titanium Grey, Matte Beige, Sparkling Silver, Midnight Black, Volcano Red and Pristine White.

Powering the Jupiter ZX is an 110cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which comes mated to a CVT transmission. The motor makes power up to 8bhp and delivers a peak torque of 8Nm. It claims to deliver an excellent acceleration of 0-60 in just 11.2 seconds and return a fuel economy of up to 62kmpl. The scooter comes loaded with styling and convenience features like twin pilot lamps, LED tail lamp, 3D logos, stainless steel muffler cover, easy accessible kick and electric start, pass-by switch, key shutter lock, dual-side handle lock, parking brake, external fuel fill, retractable bag hooks, mobile charger and E-Z centre stand.

The Jupiter ZX comes with telescopic front forks and a gas charged mono-shock at the rear. The scooter runs on well designed 12” alloy wheels with 90/90 tubeless tyres and both the wheels come equipped with a 130mm drum type braking unit. Rumours were saying that the Jupiter ZX will also feature an optional front disc brake, however, there is no such option with it.
