TVS Apache RTR 165 RP Sold Out Already!

Worry not, as TVS will follow it up with another limited edition bike, probably the performance version of the Apache RR 310

The TVS Apache RTR 165 RP was launched on December 23 last year, limited to just 200 units. It was available exclusively online via TVS’ official website, but all the 200 bikes have already been sold out now. For reference, the bike was priced at Rs 1,45,000 (ex-showroom pan-India), which is a whole Rs 25,000 more than the standard Apache RTR 160 4V with Bluetooth connectivity.

That said, there’s still hope as TVS had already revealed that the Apache RTR 165 RP was the first bike under the dedicated performance sub-brand, called Race Performance. So expect the next limited-edition product to be a performance-oriented version of the TVS Apache RR 310. This could be followed by the sportier version of the already feature-packed TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. 

The TVS Apache RTR 165 RP was the most powerful motorcycle in the 160-odd cc segment, and was in fact, more powerful than the Yamaha R15 V4. It also featured several functional upgrades such as adjustable brake and clutch levers, a larger rear petal disc brake and a brass-coated drive chain. Additionally, it also came with a tasteful TVS Racing-inspired livery. 

If TVS indeed launches the Race Performance version of the RR 310 next, we’d be stoked if it makes around 6PS more than the stock bike, which produces 34PS and 27.3Nm.
