Top 5 Best Selling Bikes of 2025: Hero Splendor, Honda Shine 125 And More
Hero sold more than 30 lakh Splendors this year!

India arguably has one of the biggest motorcycle markets with several affordable two-wheelers. Based on the sales data we received from Society Of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), we have compiled a list of top 5 best-selling bikes from 2025 (January 2025 to November 2025), and the numbers match the populations of entire cities:
Hero Splendor Plus
|
Year |
Units Sold |
|
2025 |
30,75,338 |
|
2024 |
31,19,147 |
Hero Splendor Plus has topped the best-selling list this year too. While Hero sold 30,75,888 Splendors this year, the YoY sales numbers show a small 1.40% decrease. This is particularly surprising as the Splendor range actually got cheaper with the revised GST rates. We reckon the overall number might just beat last year’s figures by the end of this month. The strongest selling point of the Splendor is its reliability, ease of riding, and the availability of multiple variants at different price points.

Honda Shine 125
|
Year |
Units Sold |
|
2025 |
15,93,966 |
|
2024 |
14,78,105 |
Honda Shine 125 has been the best-selling 125cc motorcycle for years now. It offers decent mileage, comes with a neutral design, is comfortable, and a time-tested 125cc engine that is quite refined.
These characteristics must’ve helped the brand sell over 15,93,966 units of the Shine, which is a 7.83% increase in YoY sales.

Hero HF Deluxe
|
Year |
Units Sold |
|
2025 |
9,59,278 |
|
2024 |
9,43,633 |
The Hero HF Deluxe is essentially the Splendor Plus, but with different styling. The bikes are built on the same platform, with most of their underpinnings being the same. The HF Deluxe also offers a similar riding experience as the Splendor as it is powered by the same engine.
That said, it isn’t as popular as the Splendor. Yet it still managed to tally over 9,59,278 units, which is a small 1.65% increase in the bike’s YoY sales.

Bajaj Pulsar 125cc Range
|
Year |
Units Sold |
|
2025 |
7,35,836 |
|
2024 |
7,80,384 |
The 125cc Bajaj Pulsar range includes three bikes: The Bajaj Pulsar 125, the Bajaj Pulsar N125 and the Bajaj Pulsar NS125. All of these Pulsars are known for their good balance of mileage, affordability and performance. Even though there’s strength in numbers, the brand sold 7,35,836 units this year, a 5.70% decrease in YoY sales numbers. Perhaps, the sales will get better once the brand launches a new Pulsar next year, which is likely going to be a 125cc bike.

TVS Apache 150-200cc Range
|
Year |
Units Sold |
|
2025 |
4,99,110 |
|
2024 |
4,08,706 |
This year, TVS sold 4,99,110 units of the Apache 150-200cc range, a 22.11% increase in YoY sales. The TVS Apache 150-200cc range includes the TVS Apache RTR 160 2V, the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, the TVS Apache RTR 180, and the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. All of these motorcycles have peppy engines and a bunch of decent modern features. TVS refreshed the whole lineup with modern features and Anniversary-themed colour schemes, which would’ve played a big role in contributing to the overall sales.
