The Diablo Cyclops was showcased at the Bangkok Motor Show earlier this month

Bajaj’s flagship motorcycle, the Dominar 400 is a fantastic mixture of sportiness and touring capabilities. The folks at Thailand-based K-Speed have proved that this package is as versatile as it can get, with their creation, the Diablo Cyclops. In fact, the motorcycle was showcased at the Bajaj stall at the Bangkok International Motor Show 2020.

The custom house has used a 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 as their palette. The bulky headlamp assembly has been replaced with a sleek unit with carbon-fibre-like wrap. It houses a single LED headlamp, making it look like the one-eyed giant, the Cyclops. The minimalist headlamp cowl also emphasises the muscular-looking tank extensions. Furthermore, they have replaced the stock tyres with properly rugged knobby units. This coupled with the front fender elimination makes it look a lot more raw and aggressive.

For a more minimalistic appeal, the primary instrument cluster has been removed but the tank-mounted secondary unit has remained untouched. The wide handlebars feature tiny bar-end mirrors which are aesthetic rather than being functional. They have also used a custom subframe with premium-looking diamond-pattern stitching on the seat. For an added dose of practicality, it also features a full-length engine guard with integrated LED auxiliary lamps.

The stock twin outlet exhaust has been swapped with a Motiv aftermarket underbelly unit. This coupled with the lack of the rear fender really brings out the butch rear tyre. There have been no changes to the underpinnings or the powertrain (except for the exhaust). But we reckon adding a few inches to the suspension and perhaps plonking in a larger rear sprocket along with spoke wheels should make this bike a legitimate offroad monster. What do you guys think?
