In order to make people aware of the deadly disease, AIDS, a bike rally named “Ride for Rights” was conducted by the Indian Community Welfare Organisations (ICWO) and Rotary Club in Chennai on World AIDS Day. The riders used Royal Enfield bikes to convey the message. It is to be noted that a huge number of bike rallies have been orgnised using Royal Enfield bikes in India. As per statements of one of the participant of the grand rally “Ride for Rights”, it is known that the bikes crossed around 20 different areas of the city making people aware not to spread the disease any more and to care for the ones affected by it.

He said the rally conducted was to reach all the parts of city and thus to make Chennai a better and safer place to live. With the rally been conducted, Indian Community Welfare Organisation (ICWO) and Rotary Club of the city is expecting some changes like that of lowering the number of affected persons with the disease.

As we all know the disease is dangerous enough to kill a person and is spreading like fire in forest all over the world, awareness is the must requirement to stop the same. The rally's main motive was to spread awareness regarding HIV and to show sympathy to the ones affected with the virus and also to clear the fact that they are no different than the general public.

The dangerous disease is killing millions of people every year all round the world and is to be strictly stopped to make this world a better place. The ones suffering with this deadly disease joined hands with the rally's volunteers and rode the ever famous, Royal Enfield so as to spread the message for eradication and their rights for being a member of this world. Also emphasis by rally members was paid to the awareness of HIV-TB that is the co-infection of HIV and currently is an important issue to be thought for.
