Chennai based cult motorcycle manufacturer, Royal Enfield has announced that it will launch the new Military version of Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 500 soon in India, christianed as Bullet 500 Military. The new Bullet 500 Military will be available with a new Military green paint Job. The new version of Bullet classic 500 would be powered by the same fuel-injected, Air-Cooled, Unit Construction Engine (UCE), single Cylinder, 28-horsepower engine which can produce maximum power output of 27.2 Bhp and delivers peak torque of 41.3 Nm with its 500cc engine.
The company hopes that the new version will mainly target Police and Army department. The new Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 500 Military has fitted with advanced classy features including Fuel tank with post war graphics, Traditional looking front number plate, Classic style round headlamp ,Body colored frame, Thigh pads and single saddle seat with springs, Visible steel springs and Deep-drawn fenders of the rear tire. Besides, Royal Enfield is planning to produce 1 lakh units by 2012 due to huge demand of Royal Enfield Bullet in the Indian auto market.
