It’s the third instance where the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 X has been spied testing in India, hinting that it’s inching closer to its production stages. Interestingly, the test mule also features a couple of extra goodies which will be offered as accessories when the bike is launched. The spy pictures also give us a clearer picture of the single-pod instrument console, adjustable levers and its switchgear which is the same retro dial-type units seen on the 2020 Royal Enfield Classic 350.
To cut to the chase, the 2020 model was seen with a tall windscreen, a black engine guard and chrome saddlebag mounts which could double up as saree guards. Look closer and you'd notice new rider and pillion footpegs which are flat compared to the cylindrical units on the current model. What’s also quite noticeable is the single-pod instrument console, which is likely to be a semi-digital unit unlike the twin-pod console on the current-gen Thunderbird. The engine is based on Royal Enfield’s new J platform which will comply with upcoming BS6 emission norms with more displacement to play with. Considering the current-gen model which retails at Rs 1.63 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi)., we could expect the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 X to sport a price tag of around Rs 1.8 lakh to Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom) with an early 2020 launch timeline. Once launched the 2020 Thunderbird 350 X will compete against the 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400.

- Excellent bike for long rides
In term of riding the bike really good I've had many great riding experiences with it. The performance is excellent and fuel tank capacity is also good. So there's no worry on long rides. The service network is available in many places so that's not a concern either. Maintenance costs are also quite reasonable.

Among all two-wheelers, the Royal Enfield Meteor offers the most comfortable ride, and its maintenance cost is also the lowest. I purchased it because it enhance the personality of a person more than 5.6 ft and also heavy weight people. The seating position is comfortable, mileage is good, every where it can give you comfortable seating. Can we used daily for office and heavy traffic. Less heating engine. Mileage friendly, masculine look, cruise Wonderful, stable and super cruise bike comfortable posture. Riding about my 4 years of experience with this bike so I have travelled from Thane to hampi, 5 jyotirlinga of Maharashtra, other divine places with it is 25000 km overall. It was super comfortable. Mileage friendly, masculine look cruise Wonderful , stable and cruises for long distance. It is not heavy on road. Good road presence. Less torque good power. The build quality is awesome. Manage to ride solo.
1 2 - My review for my Meteor 350cc
Dream bike for a middle class family, I purchased it in june 2021 with all my savings while working. It cost me 2.40 lacs in cash as I have ordered Glossy black which is non standard colour so I have to pay extra for it. Talking about my 4.5 years of experience with this bike so the max i go with it is 800 km (up+down) to Mussoorie UK. I like it.
