Royal Enfield has re-launched its Electra Chassis blessed flat track inspired Royal Enfield Fury at Motorcycle Live 2010. The bike is priced at $9000 in United Kingdom. This is re-launch of Royal Enfield Fury while it was firstly launched in 1959, the bike was very popular at that time. The recently launched Royal Enfield Fury is loaded with a fuel injected, single cylinder, Air Cooled engine, and displacement of the bike is 500cc.
The bike will be available first in overseas market and later it will be introduced in Indian market. The new launched cruiser Royal Enfield Fury is having very attractive image and innovative features. The powerful engine of the bike produces peak power of 27.2 bhp at 5250 rpm and top torque of 41.3Nm at 4000 rpm.
The newly launched Royal Enfield Fury is equipped with twin silencer, digital clock, flat glass fibre seat, wide handlebars, chrome headlight and chrome indicators which market it different than other cruiser bikes. The bike shares same power engine as Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 500 . And it is available in Orange, Black and White body colour.
Royal Enfield is a India based cruiser motorcycle manufacturer and at present its production plant produces 5000 units per month. The company is, now, targeting to produce 10000 units per month. In order to achieve this target, the company is to invest Rs. 500 crore.
Royal Enfield launched two new bikes in India like Royal Enfield bullet classic 500 cc and Royal Enfield bullet classic 300 cc, last year. It is expected that newly launched Royal Enfield Fury will be launched in Indian market very soon with competitive and affordable price as it other siblings.
