Oben Electric has announced festive offers on the Oben Rorr electric bike. Now the bike is offered with a flat discount of Rs 30,000 and an extended 5-year battery warranty. Along with this, customers who are lucky stand a chance to win an iPhone 15, an iPad Mini and Sony Headphones.
The Oben Rorr starts at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1,49,999, and now with the discount of Rs 30,000 it comes at a price of Rs 1,19,999. All prices are ex-showroom Bengaluru, including electric mobility promotion scheme subsidy or EMPS. The offers are valid from September 29 to October 12, 2024.
The brand is also planning on hosting a special ‘Dussehra Dhamaal Day’ across their showrooms in Bengaluru, Pune and Delhi. As part of this, customers now stand a chance to get a discount of Rs 60,000, which brings the bike’s price down to Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom Bengaluru, Inc EMPS).
The ‘Dussehra Dhamaal Day’ was held on 29 September 2024 in Bengaluru. Customers in Delhi who are interested in availing the offers can visit the showroom on 2 October, and the ones in Pune can visit the showroom on 6th October to get a chance to get the massive discount.
Currently, Oben only has one bike in their lineup, the Oben Rorr. It is powered by an 8kW motor, linked to a chain drive transmission. The motor offers a claimed top speed of 100kmph, and a 0-40 acceleration time of 3 seconds (claimed). The motor is linked to a 4.4kWh battery, which offers a claimed range of 187km. With the optional fast charger, the battery can be charged from 0-80 percent in 2 hours.
The Rorr features a telescopic fork and a monoshock. Braking duties are handled by discs at both ends, with combined braking system (CBS) as standard for added safety. The Rorr has a ground clearance of 200mm and an impressive 230mm water wading capability.
