The former Indian cricket team captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, was recently spotted riding the KTM 390 Duke at MMRT (Madras Motor Race Track), at a launch event of the Eurogrip tyres. And being a motorcycle enthusiast himself, Captain Cool took it seriously -- he was seen riding in a full set of track-riding gear.
Eurogrip Trailhound STR
The Eurogrip Trailhound STR are 90 percent road biased and 10 percent rough-road-biased tyres. The tyreswill be well suited for riders who mostly ride on tarmac, with occasional encounters with gravel and broken sections. The thread pattern is claimed to deliver good grip across varied surfaces.

These tyres are a perfect fit for the bikes like the KTM 390 Adventure, Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, and Yezdi Adventure.
The combination of the sticky rubber and the KTM 390 Duke is a perfect combo for the track. The KTM 390 Duke is powered by a 349.32cc engine, which produces 41.5 PS and 33.5 Nm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox and gets a bi-directional quickshifter for quick downshifts and upshifts, which is much needed at a racetrack.

- Awesome Product by KTM, this time they understand the Indian market very well.If you are buying this motorcycle directly and have not driven a 390cc before, then this 350cc engine will give you the best performance. All the features are the same. Only the engine has a little less power, but that 4-5 bhp is not noticeable. - Power rocketTo be honest, I was confused between this and the the Triumph speed 400 but the 390 is just a different vibe. It's got an aggressive look that stands out in the college parking, plus in mumbai u need that instant power to gap vehicles. Nothing in this budget gives you this much performance , power , feel and technology its a beast!!.The acceleration is very unreal , but the enginge gets quite hot when you're stuck at a signal for too long. Suspension is a bit stiff, so you'll feel the mumbai potholes , but on highsway its very stable. Handling is very light yess but keep in mind its not a family bike. its for people who love speed and beginners pls stay away cuz power delivery is very sharppp. Best 400cc .
