Honda Unveiled CBR650F, CB650F and CBR300R at EICMA

The Japanese auto major Honda unveiled its new product range at 2013 EICMA. The company unveiled the new CBR300R and the updated products for 2014 along with the debut of two new motorcycles- CBR650F and CB650F. Like the name suggests about the bike, CBR650F is a racing sport bike, while the CB650F is a naked sport bike. Both the bikes boasts a very efficient 649cc inline four power mill. Despite having a big 649cc engine these sport bikes manage to return an impressive fuel economy of 21kmpl.

Honda CB650F

Honda CB650F naked sport bike is inspired by its elder sibling CB1000R. The aggressive looking bike features an all new twin spar frame in steel elliptical cross-section and the aluminum swingarm with preload adjustable rear shock. Dual front and single rear disk brakes with ABS assistance is a standard feature of the bike. Its masculine fuel tank, sharp edge headlamp, stylish LED taillamp, under belly exhaust system and wide tyres give this bike a masculine apperance.

Honda CBR650F

Honda CBR650F is the faired version of CB650F, which makes the naked beast to feel like a proper racing machine. The bike also gets clip-on handle bars, which doesn't comes with the naked bikes generally. Using the similar power mill, both the bikes can churn out a maximum power of 87bhp @ 11,000rpm and a peak torque of 63Nm @ 8,000rpm. Both the bikes are looking suitable for the Indian market if they will be launched with a price tag of around Rs. 6.00 lakh, although we are expecting it around Rs. 8.50 lakh.

Honda CBR300R

Honda CBR300R was unveiled by the company earlier at the 12th China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition and the specifications of the bike were also unveiled. Apart from these new bikes, Honda also showcased the latest 2014 version of its popular bikes including CBR1000RR aks Fireblede, CTX700 and Crosstourer.

Honda CBR1000RR

The latest version of Fireblade is more powerful and even more exciting. SP version of CBR1000RR has been specifically made for race use, with Öhlins suspension, Brembo monobloc front brake calipers, single-seat and special painting Tricolour

Honda CTX700

This new Honda CTX700 is sport tourer along with all the crusing features and DCT transmission and ABS are now standard on the bike.

Honda crosstourer

The Honda Crosstourer gets traction control evolves in the first "Torque Control System" (TCS) with 3 levels. The newly designed low seat of the bike is now more comfortable and the direction indicators are now self-canceling. It also gets the new key contact and colors, among them being the unpublished 'camouflage'. On the DCT version the software update makes the ride even more intuitive. The bike also gets updated accessories including the redesigned rear trunk and heated grips on 5 levels.
